My Life in the NFL

Growing up my plans were to play football for the Chicago Bears. That didn’t happen. I had the opportunity to break that news to Virginia Halas McCaskey (owner of the Chicago Bears and daughter to THE Papa Bear Halas) when I shook her hand at the 2011 NFL Hall of Fame Induction and shared with her my childhood dreams. I was there to photograph Shannon Sharpe’s induction, where Richard Dent (former DE for the Bears) also was being inducted into the HOF – truly a highlight of my brief photography career.

The past 7 years I’ve been blessed with some CRAZY opportunities in the NFL. Just to name a few…

• 3 days shooting ProBowl in Miami
• 1st NFL game ever was Vikings v. Packers in Favre’s last game as QB for Vikings playing agains his former team (oddly, meaningful if you’re a Bears’ fan)
• 12 NFL games with over half of them being Bears’ games
• spent time with Mike Singletary (my idol growing up) and worshiping with him and team at chapel night before a game
• captured Peyton Manning’s last game as a Bronco against the Colts
• and many more to come
