How I Got The Shot: Flour Child

I love to help other photographers! Whether it’s through the ImprovePhotography.com network that I cohost the podcast LATITUDE: THE Travel Photography Podcast, or local photographers I’ve met and have had the opportunity to mentor. Whenever another photographer asks me for help, advice, or how I took a photo, I love to share.

Recently my daughter asked me if we could do a shot of her flipping her hair with colored flour in it. We make a great team and I love trying something new with her because she’s such a great model and listens well. I was all for it, but said I wanted to try a few other things first before we added the color. This shot is one of the results.
